How to make 8.5 Billion a year from
FaceBook
Travel in 2017

First I’d like to note that I am not asking for any ownership or shares in FaceBook Travel, and as such this CV/Presentation should be considered a genuine application for the Director of Business Development position in Palo Alto.

The entire FaceBook Travel business plan was written specifically with this position in mind after I’d seen the post; indeed I could make a legitimate argument that I’m owed 8 months back pay.

The main difference between FaceBook Travel and other Travel companies is FaceBook Travel has no costs, no salaries, no marketing, no offices…. FaceBook Travel is simply software that creates a network of millions travel professionals all paying us from 10% to 30% of their bookings in exchange for using our technology and networks.

I have started with the travel industry for 2 reasons, firstly there is a good argument that the Travel and Tourism industry, more than any other, relies on the internet, and secondly, it’s my specialist field of expertise.

However the business plans, software and theories will adapt to all industries, FaceBook Travel is simply an obvious first step.

Before I give a summarized version of both FaceBook Travel and show how the figure $8.5Billion in 2017 was reached, we need to look at the Technology Tree of Travel so far this century, the advances with links are ours and discussed in detail in the FaceBook Travel section of this presentation

I’d have a fair argument save “Give Half Back”, that there is at least one patent (sometimes a few, if we include delivery methods) to be had on each advance particularly within a social networking environment, if we also include
FaceBook Gifts, Teleport to GPS and S-World TV whoever owns the patents on all these systems will create an unassailable lead in the Social Networking Travel sector, and soon after, all industries.

Before we get down to how we creating and implement these technologies, it needs to be clearly pointed out that after a demonstration is created in Palo Alto (two months). No investment will be needed from FaceBook as a $12 Billion software development fund will be raised from 16 industry sectors.

FaceBook Travel, a quick overview.

1. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/1_The_FaceBook_Travel_Tutorial_Game.htm .

We start by creating an entertaining Travel Industry specific computer game that acts as a tutorial in both, the Travel Industry in general over the last 10 years, and how to use our new software. To get enough points to qualify for an interview one would really be looking at a minimum of150 hours gaming and so Travel and Software experience.

2. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/2_FaceBook_Travel_Reps_&_Agents.htm

Advances:
FB/Travel Reps
FB/Travel Agents.

Fully trained in Travel and software, Travel reps deal specifically with clients who have similar interests, who live in the location a client is visiting. For private people and example may be the wife of a doctor or lawyer, really only there to advise and give assistance if needed. Clients with families may choose a mother with children the same age, as the kids can play together and our Rep can offer advice on the best places for kids. Beach and sun party folk would be advised to choose an aspiring model as he/she can invite their clients to exclusive parties. Whichever way you look at it, traveling with FaceBook Travel greatly increases the clients’ experience.

FaceBook Travel Reps receive between a 5% and 10% commission, higher than Travel Agent and Tour Operator employee’s commissions, sometimes 10 times higher. Many industry professionals will jump ship to FaceBook Travel. When joined with FaceBook Trained Reps, FaceBook Travel will have a network of Hundreds of Thousands of FaceBook Travel Reps across the globe. At no cost to FaceBook, in a way they pay FaceBook as Facebook will take an additional 10% to 30% commission from the supplier.

Gamers with more entrepreneurial and sales flair will become FaceBook Travel Agents and often provide clients to the FaceBook Reps, combined with our tour operator and travel agent network, it will not be long before most places that book travel are in one way or another linked to FaceBook Travel.

3. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/3_Facebook_Travel_Service_Ratings.htm

Advance:
Travel Service Ratings.

Simply, when a client has finished his or her holiday he/she ranks both the rep and accommodation “Could Try Harder” “I had a Great Time” or “I felt like a VIP”.

A couple of “Could Try Harder’s” and that’s the end of our Reps FaceBook adventure, continual “I felt like a VIP” will see more requests from clients and higher commissions.

Anyone that wishes to book trough FaceBook Travel will see the average ranking of both the FaceBook Travel Reps, Agents, and the accommodation they are looking at. If you could imagine Trip Advisor where everyone voted and no one could hack it.

“FaceBook Travel Reps, will live and die by the sword that is”FaceBook Travel Service Ratings”” So forcing excellent service every time.

4. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/4_FaceBook_Travel_CRM.htm

Advances
FB/CRM1 – Organiser
FB/CRM2 – Client Gifts
FB/CRM3 – Psychology Tests
FB/CRM4 - Total Email

CRM stands for “Consumer Relationship Management Software” its basic purpose is to improve client relations. In addition it will assist in day to day business matters, from recruiting staff, to suggesting marketing strategies. Further it recommends very well researched accommodation and travel options to Agents, Reps and Clients.

If you are in Human Resources I think you will like the FB/CRM3 – Psychology Tests section as it is specifically made to assist in HR, and while we are on this, I’d like to point out that this is not the product, this is just the entry level idea, for FaceBook HR staff to further brainstorm and say, “You know what? If it did this as well it would be cool!” Then we put all the ideas together and make a truly wonderful product that works for most industries.

An Example, in FB/CRM2 – Client Gifts it was Mike my assistant who came up with the idea to automate the gifts via an events calendar, and that’s the real money spinner in FaceBook Gifts.

5. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/5_FaceBook_Travel_Financial_Software.htm

Advances:
FB/CRM Link
Bank Link
Total Reporting
Audited Accounts

The CRM Links directly to the financial software then directly into the Bank, this makes zero opportunity for human error and means our reps and agents have no administration, financial, accounting or auditing costs. It also pays suppliers directly avoiding any chance of fraud.

The software offers “Total Reporting” advising CEO’s, Agents and Rep’s of all necessary cost centres, very simply presented in real time. It further offers projections based on seasonal trends and global economics.

6. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/6_FaceBook_Friends_of_Friends_Travel_Marketing.htm

Advances:
FaceBook Travel
Friends of Friends

The basic principal here is simply this, would you trust a friend of a friend more than a stranger? Of course you would. FaceBook Travel already exists, many small travel specialist have FaceBook Travel sites or keep in touch with past clients through there normal FaceBook Page.

FaceBook Travel already exists; we will just be regulating it, improving our member’s technology and of course, taking our cut, approximately 20% of every booking. A large reason for this is due to FaceBook Travels potential collective buyer power gaining better prices from suppliers.

At first Reps and Agents will be allowed to trade with their FaceBook Friends, when they achieve good customer feedback “I felt like a VIP” they will widen there network to friends of friends, further excellent service and good financial results will see them open to friends of friends of friends, which is loosely estimated at 40 Million people.

There is no privacy problem our Agents and Reps can not see friends of friends. It is their friends of friends who see our FaceBook Travel Rep or Agents shopping page.

7. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/7_FaceBook_Travel_Agents_and_Reps_Free_Websites.htm

Advances:
Free Websites
The Global Distribution System

All our FaceBook agents and reps will be given free website building tools, within a few hours they can build a site similar to this one http://www.ExperienceAfrica.com, Face Book Reps and Agents can customise the look and feel to there cooperate image and choose content from an ever growing global network database. Reps and Agents will be able to choose a domain and launch their real website.

Many Reps and Agents will run small PPC campaigns (Taught in the tutorial game), with over 100,000 reps and agents, this will give near total dominance to FaceBook Travel in Google and other Search Engines PPC listings, particularly if we collectively buy in bulk and let our reps and agents buy from us at cost.

We will also let selected travel agents, tour operators ,accommodation venues and other travel related companies have access to out database, so they can add content to there existing website.

The majority of non GDS accommodation availability is stored by these companies. We will make API links directly into their databases, pulling out the information and making it available to be booked by our network on line.
These smaller individual inventory systems are commonly called ADS’s (Alternate Distribution Systems). Our Target is to connect 50% of these ADS’s before any one else does. This will create the most powerful “Global Distribution System” in Travel, and opens the door to creating a massive global database of everything that can be sold.

8. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/8_S-World_3D_Virtual_World.htm

Advances: Virtual World 1
S-World Virtual Shopping Network
Virtual World 2

S-World really is the difference between a great plan and an unbelievable plan, and as such I’d advise reading the following 3 links from the Product section of the presentation, they have been written in an easy reading, fun question an answer format.

http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/What_is_S-World_Virtual_World.htm
http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/S-World.TV.htm
http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/What_is_S-World_Virtual_Shopping_Network.htm

I would further advise reading the page from FaceBook Travel specifically related to S-World & Travel
http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/8_S-World_3D_Virtual_World.htm

In brief we create a virtual world that mirrors real life, like the SIMMS (or directly networked with The SIMMS). We make it very popular by the Teleport to GPS function. Travel venues are no longer evaluated by a few pictures, rather a virtual 3D walk through, often gloriously programmed using more advanced rendering software, containing full portfolios of media on the venue.

Considering the superior presentation, as soon as a good percentage of venues are rendered, few would use the internet websites as a source of information, S-World will become the internet for Travel and Tourism in general. As for paying for it, starting at $400 worth of bed nights (they pay no cash, we just sell the rooms) for a 10 bedroom Hotel, all can easily afford it.

Clients can book directly with the venue, talk to them, phone them. Each booking makes about 30% commission for FaceBook Travel. Direct to supplier bookings count for 45% of the entire travel industry a pot of US$405 Billion. I have estimated this sector will turnover
$US 26.7 Billion by 2017

When Clients walk around S-World, they will often come to FaceBook Travel shops, when they go in, they will pick there location, then privacy settings, then choose a FaceBook Rep or Agent that has the most similar interests or the highest
Service Rating then start the booking process.

9. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/9_Give_Half_Back.htm

Advances:
Give Half Back

This initiative was created in April, 3 months before social networking became a factor in S-World. It is the inspiration behind “The Spartan Theory” which is
“String Theory” and a contender for “The Theory of Everything”.
Quite simply half of all profit goes to good causes, particularly Global Economic Recovery, Science and Ecology.

It is the world's simples and most effective branding exercise, and wil see untold love and riches befall FaceBook, Quite simply half of all profit goes to good causes, particularly Global Economic Recovery, Science and Ecology.

Besides the mass of positive PR for FaceBook and our endeavors, we also need to consider the negative PR for our competitors, particularly if we have asked them to give half their profit to "Give Half Back" (or alternate non profit company) and they refused.

Consider this, if you can buy the same product for the same price from vendor (a) who keeps the profit, or vendor (b) FaceBook where 50% goes to helping the economy, who would you buy it from? Simple, vendor (b) FaceBook.

It is well worth noting, that I am not asking for Shares in FaceBook Travel, and as such FaceBook Shareholders and Stakeholders should see the 50% given to the planet, simply as the 50% that would have been going my way.

“Give Half Back” becomes the essential ingredient in these pages, and is critical to the second half of the business plan/theory that looks to address Greece's Then the USA's debt balances.

http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/Auction of the Big 16.htm

10. http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/10_FaceBook_Travel_Agents_and_Reps_Free_Print_Media.htm

Advances:
Free Branded Travel magazines.

By a combination of product placement and direct advertising we can make (for no cost) Millions of glossy Travel Magazines tailored to our FaceBook Reps and Agents companies.

Put together collectively by brands like BULGARI and ARMANI the design and luxuriousness will impress all. We will initially be creating magazines for 16 Global Territories

And that’s the last part of the puzzle that gives FaceBook Reps and agents all the tools of large Travel Agencies.
How much money will FaceBook Travel make in 2017?

http://www.s-world.biz/FaceBook/How_Much_Money_Will_FaceBook_Travel_Make_Each_Year.htm

We start with the total pot at $900 Billion and from there divide by one third, a typical split (70/30) between hotel and agent, so leaving $300 Billion.

We are looking to achieve a 23.5% market share in travel bookings by 2017, however for the sake of caution i have halved expectations, so final figures reflect a 11.75% market share, split between FaceBook Travel and “Experience Travel” (Please note I receive no dividends from either company)

To see how we get there, first we need to go back to the total pot $900 Billion and see how bookings are divided.

This US$ 900 Billion is roughly split.

1. Direct booking with the hotel, airline etc 45% = US$ 405 Billion
2. Booked through a high street Travel Agent 35% = US$ 315 Billion
3. Booked through Internet Tour Operator 20% = US$ 180 Billion

Direct booking with the hotel, airline etc 45% = US$ 405 Billion
Direct S-World Booking US$ 26.7 Billion
Web Feed on venues websites US$ 04.05 Billion

Booked through a high street Travel Agent 35% = US$ 315 Billion

FaceBook Travel sold via FaceBook US$ 11.8 Billion
Partnering with High Street Names. US$ 05.5

Booked through Internet Tour Operator 20% = US$ 180 Billion

FaceBook Travel Agents & Reps US$ 09.0 Billion
Existing Internet Tour Operators US$ 13.5 Billion

Total FaceBook Travel & S-World Turnover US$ 70.55 Billion
As for expenses, well, there’s really not a lot, the whole idea is everything is automated and the hundreds of thousands of FaceBook Travel Reps and Agents pay us. So let’s just call it 2.55 Billion and round the profit to US$68 Billion.
  US$68 Billion.

For safety, we take off 50% for unexpected problems US$34 Billion

50% to Science, Ecology & Global Economic Stability US$17 Billion

Lastly we take our $17 Billion and split it with our new FaceBook Travel and “Give Half Back” partners making a pre tax profit of $US8.5 Billion

FaceBook Travel 2017 pre tax profit US$8.5 Billion

Note: Considering we have generated US$17 Billion for good causes, we will see some tax breaks.
