On expectance a month long flash of inspiration saw the creation of "The Spartan Theory" It's foundations were technical and so the direction changed to Google, then on July 12th Nick saw the film "The Social Network" and was drawn (in part due to SAT scores) to Mark Zuckerberg and facebook.

On that same day Nick started to write a journal, he called it "The Social Network 2" and armed with the ideas for VIRGIN and Google plus the "Spartan Theory" he began to adapt his work to facebook. He also took time to put down some personal thoughts, this book is un edited and often repeats itself, this is Nick preferred way of working if an obvious solution is not available, rather move on to another part and when the solution does become possible, simply note it.
